| You don't know me, but I felt the need to write to you and say how impressed I was with the help you gave my friend Mary Jane while she was in California. We talked this morning over breakfast and she told me of your kindness. It is so seldom that one hears good things about service stations, so it was wonderful to hear how much she appreciated what you did for her. you not only fixed the car that was full of diesel oil, but of taking her home and then charging her such a nominal fee. Back here in the East the service station people would have taken advantage of her and charged at least doubly what you did. So I thank you for that.
